33-Year-Old Steph Curry and his Historic Run

Golden State Warriors star, Stephen Curry made NBA history on Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Steph curry dropped 49 points, making it his 11th straight game with 30-plus points. By doing so, he passed the previous record of 10 straight games with 30-plus points, held by the Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant for players 33 years of age or older.
Not only has Stephen Curry broken that record, but he keeps breaking his own record of 10+ three-pointers made in a game, and on Monday night, he increased that number to 21. The next closest player to that has five, and that is his teammate Klay Thompson, who is currently sidelined due to an injury. To put this crazy record into perspective, this season alone Curry has six games where he has made 10+ three-pointers in a game.
Steeve Kerr, Coach of the Golden State Warriors, had a few words to say about Curry’s record-breaking stretch:
“I’ve seen Kobe Bryant early in his career had a stretch where he went nuts,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. “Obviously Michael Jordan had some stretches where he just scored liked crazy. But nobody’s ever shot the ball like this in the history of the game.”
As much as these records seem impossible to break, we are sure of one thing, Steph Curry will find a way to break them, and continue adding on to them. Curry is the greatest shooter in NBA history, no three-point record will not have his name on it. Don’t take this time for granted, Steph Curry is a generational player.
